Thanks to Ivy Hicks-Secretary and Chloe Hammond-Treasurer of Interact Club for their update on Interact Projects at the Big Sky High School:

 

1. Fundraised with an online auction to send a girl to school in Nepal with the Tsering Fund

2. Rotary Reads- students choose books from the High School Library to read to elementary students

3. Mental Health Projects- students made weekly announcements over the High School PA System to share methods to reduce stress and improve study habits

4. Planning next years Annual Interact Trip; possibly a Habitat for Humanity house building project in the Dominican Republic

 

-Both Ivy and Chloe appreciated the Leadership skills they learned as Interact members, were happy to help others, and were more connected to their community through the Interact projects.
